Roots of Arnica is a Calgary‑based, community‑driven initiative grounded in relationships with land, food, and culture. Our work centres around community gardens, season extension, arts‑based knowledge sharing, and collaborative projects that support collective wellbeing, ecological care, and cultural continuity.

As we move from establishment into growth, we are building a board that reflects our values of care, accountability, reciprocity, and shared leadership.

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for board members who bring lived experience, skills, or curiosity relevant to our mission. Previous board experience is welcome but not required.

We especially encourage applications from people with experience or interest in:

• • Indigenous, cultural, or land‑based knowledge

• • Arts, culture, or creative placemaking
